Amidamaru from Shaman King

Amidamaru is the spirit ally of Yoh Asakura. He is a samurai who was born on January 6, 1385, and died at the age of 24. Always sticking by Yoh's side, he is loyal and trustworthy and can enter Yoh's sword through integration ("spirit control" in the English anime). Amidamaru is very powerful but quite taciturn and extremely devoted to "Lord Yoh" ("Yō-dono" in Japanese).

This character is far way more complicated than my previous projects.. but still he is one of my favorite characters.. besides, shaman king is quite famous at that time thats why i decided to work on this one..
Again, i used polymer clay.. some words about polymer clay,, well you have to dedicate an oven toaster coz you cant use it for food again..you also need an oven thermometer to monitor the correct temperature of your oven,, that is a must to avoid burning your masterpiece. or else.. waste of effort, time, money and it creates toxic fumes when its over cooked. also if your clay is not properly cured/cooked, its brittle and crumbly.          quite hard to deal with this material... (for me >_< )  but truly,, polymer  clays are really good on making sculptures.

one bad practice i did on this one is that i didn't make any plan or sketch to determine what to do first, what kind of posture, etc,, a trial and error process..

And now, the painting process.. that time, i honestly don't know much on what are the essentials in painting a figure,, i don't know about primers, mr. surfacer, top coats, matte and gloss finish.. resulted for my final output to be sticky, maybe also caused by using cheap acrylic paints

 haha, just ignore the background..
